The work nobody sees
Why surface prep is roughly 60% of a real paint job — and what gets skipped when a quote comes in cheap.
ColorHow to pick a paint color you’ll live with
Lighting, undertones, and the difference between a swatch on a wall and a swatch in a brochure.
ProcessWhat to expect during a job
From the first walk-through to the final inspection. Timelines, daily flow, and how we leave a space at the end of each day.
Prep like restorers. Apply like specialists. Finish like the work has to last.
The prep is what determines how the paint looks in two years — so the prep is what we quote, and what we charge for.
Surface comes first
Every job starts with prep. Sand, fill, caulk, mask, protect. Roughly 60% of total job time. Never skipped to save cost.
Sherwin-Williams across the board
Every product is chosen for the surface and the conditions — not the price tag. Two coats. Always.
Walk-through closes the job
The project ends when the customer signs off, not before. Touch-ups happen on the spot. The file stays on record.

What people ask before they hire us.
How much will my project cost?
No “starting at” pricing here. Every estimate is a real number quoted against your actual scope — submit photos and details through Project Assessment™ and it comes back reviewed, itemized, and honest. Free, no obligation.
How fast can I get an estimate?
Any hour, any day — our office answers 24/7 at (423) 830-2984, and Project Assessment™ takes submissions around the clock. Most estimates come back within a day or two, reviewed personally.
What paint do you use?
Sherwin-Williams across the board — Cashmere, SuperPaint, Duration, Emerald, ProMar 200 — chosen per surface and conditions, never by price tag. Two coats, always.
What actually happens during a job?
Prep is roughly 60% of the work: sand, fill, caulk, mask, protect. Then paint, then a daily clean close, then a final walk-through — the job ends when you sign off, not before.
Do you stand behind the work?
Yes — every residential project is backed by a 2-year workmanship warranty, on top of the final walk-through where touch-ups happen on the spot before the job closes. If our workmanship fails within two years, we come back and make it right.
Where do you work — and are you insured?
Licensed & insured. We work across the Tri-Cities — Johnson City, Kingsport, Bristol, Jonesborough, and the surrounding counties. Nearby and unlisted? Ask.
Ready to send the project? It’s one form away.
